Rob A. Adams
Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
For nearly 33 years, Rob Adams has been the visionary leader of CES. He exemplifies the CES culture of the “worker’s heart” and ownership thinking that has enabled the growth and success of the company.
His willingness to expand into new markets related to the company’s core business of cold storage construction has created both growth and stability. The new CES Gro-AHU air handler product for indoor plant grow rooms represents his goal of expanding into new opportunities that utilize existing company capabilities. A voracious learner, Rob continuously expands his knowledge of best practices and new technology to make CES the best and most profitable provider in the marketplace.
Rob received a BS in Chemistry from University of Houston in 1973, and for fifteen years has served on the Dean’s Advisory Board for the College of Natural Science and Mathematics at UH. He also serves as a Board Member for Zond, LLC, a high-tech company in thin film coatings, and Zea Biosciences, a startup company in the indoor plant growth market. Outside of work he flies his single engine Mooney aircraft for both business and pleasure, and plays competitive tennis and baseball on local club teams. He lives in North Easton, MA with his wife and two children, and somehow finds time to enjoy his family life.
